Bruce and Laura
Bruce And Laura
Bruce and Laura came suddenly one day this past August. Laura had been working with another company and the costs got to the point that they were uncomfortable. She had been surfing the net to find another alternative. They needed to be in the Deep Run School district. They wanted an open floorplan and a lot that was large enough for a circular drive a three car garage and a back yard play space for their children. We had the house but did not have a lot. We found a lot that suited their needs and pocketbook. It was a prefect combination. The interior of the home is based upon our Auburndale model home in Mountain Run. The exterior is a new elevation. The problem was solved. Laura is in the location she wanted and Bruce has the space he needs for his growing family. Stop back often to see this dramatic home unfold.

Jay and Krissey
Jay And Krissey
Jay and Krissey have been planning their new home project for a couple of years now. They were waiting for the Lindsay Meadows neighborhood in order to have a location that supported their design needs while staying close to family in the Rural Point area of Hanover. We have drawn from the design talents of several professionals for this home the most exciting of which is from Katherine Robertson interiors. They created the most interesting kitchen and bath ideas we have worked with in sometime.

The site is one of two “pipestem” lots in the neighborhood which maintain privacy. The circular driveway opens to this gorgeous all brick transitional design. The site is gently rolling allowing a basement complete with all the extras that provides. The soaring two story family room opens to a raised patio and porch with stamped concrete floor. Check back often to keep up with this most interesting design. It promises to be the best of the best.

JC and Joyce
JC And Joyce
JC and Joyce came to us this past fall looking for a new home at the Federal Club. They became enamored with our lot in the second section of the neighborhood adjacent to the driving range and practice tees there. You see JC and Joyce are two of the best golfers in the region as well as being members of the Federal Club. Their choice in a new home was our Birch Hill plan. We executed this in a combination of stone and stucco. The vaulted two story family room was partially floored to provide a pool room for after the links entertainment. The covered rear porch is one the central aspects of this plan with access from the breakfast room, great room and master suite. The home is accented with graceful columns and arches that adorn the foyer and kitchen areas. We have this plan in a number of versions and sizes as it has been one of our best selling plans through the years.

Joe and Susan
Joe And Susan
Joe and Susan are excited about their new project. They were very instrumental in the design of this beautiful all brick ranch plan. They had seen homes from California and Florida and loved the openness of these homes, but needed an exterior elevation that fit in Virginia. We were able to help them transform their vision into a plan that offered expandability and comfort. Susan is still not sure that having the children on the opposite end of the house is a great idea. Joe assures her that it is. There is a lot of outdoor living to be enjoyed with this plan with both a front porch and a raised patio in the rear. As their family grows the second floor offers ample area for expansion. Joe says they are going to play football there in the winter until they need the space.

Rosemont
Rosemont
The Rosemont is a New England styled, two story home with a full basement, a large center hall foyer and a living area that is perfect for entertaining. Come check it out - it will be the model home this summer.

This is the first of our beautiful homes in Mountain Run’s new premier neighborhood – The Pointe. In The Pointe, we offer the opportunity to live in a beautifully designed and appointed home in one of Hanover County’s finest neighborhoods. The homes will reflect the details that are unique to Richmond’s architectural heritage to yield homes with generous amenities, spacious floor plans and exciting architectural touches. Each home will compliment the next without a lot of duplication. The landscaping will also be a focal point. The entrance to each home will display a stone entrance monument as well as hardscaping that frames the entrance to the front door. There will be landscaping for the foundation as well as exterior living areas such as patios and decks – giving homeowners the extra living space that they look for at a lower cost.

Our model home, the Rosemont is influenced by Richmond’s own Ginter Park Community. It has two stories with a full basement, a large center hall foyer and a living area that is perfect for entertaining. The home features large sun-filled rooms, front and rear porches and closets the size of bedrooms. This style is a blend of stone, shakes and siding that is elegant yet informal. This warm “come home” style sets the precedent for a beautiful neighborhood reminiscent of old world architecture unique to the classic areas in Richmond.

This home is built using the structural standards and detailing consistent with the JR Walker & Company reputation. The Rosemont in Mountain Run’s, The Pointe, could easily be your Dream Home. It is a place of luxury, community, warmth and comfort and a place to call home. Come, build family traditions.

Stone and Hardiplank siding, porches and expansive windows, and a great lot big enough for the dogs will make this one of the most comfortable homes we are involved with this year.
